Harbor freight coupons? Is 20% OFF the best one???

Just got a harbor freight ad out of the Kansas City Sunday paper, it it has a 20% off coupon in it. Is that the best one or should I wait? Thanks Adam in KC

From time to time I get a 25% coupon, but I see a 20% coupon every month.

But even the 20% coupon may not be better then their routine coupons. Today for example, I received an email flyer listing a $149 welder for $99. That is about a 33% off coupon. It has been my experience that HF will not accept the 20% off coupon on an already coupon discounted item such as this welder example.

I think HF may have changed their policy on coupons in the past few years. In January 2006 I went to the HF store in Little Rock with a 20% off coupon. Their 1800# trailer was on sale for $299 (normally $399). With the 20% off coupon I hauled the 3 boxes the trailer came in, home for under $260 including about 7% sales tax... The coupons I've seen lately do state they're not valid with any other discount (& most of the 20% coupons are only good for a single item). I have, within the past year or so presented a 20% off coupon with a single item, on sale & received additional discount, so maybe it depends on the store or the checkout clerk??
