Superbags

Have any of you used one of these, or something similar. A little pricey, but makes making the bed alot easier.

I can sew and seam around a blanket but personally I don't care for the concept. I like the idea that I am sleeping like at home and not in a sleeping bag. cleaning would be like go to the laundry mat and use the big machine, nope , I will stick to sheets and blankets........... I am sure that some will like it and they could be interesting but not for me.

It appears to me that the sheets are a removeable item, so taking them out and just laundering those may not be an issue. How they clip in, I have no idea. Another plus is the size - much bigger than a sleeping bag. I have a hard time with sleeping bags as I toss and turn most of the night.

I like it for the size too. I happen to have an extra wide (but not long) sleeping bag that I bought from Penney's 30+ years ago. It needs to be washed, but I'm afraid to because I cannot find the same bag size anywhere. Making my own would solve that. Could have seasonal ones too. I love Velcro. That might work.

we use a sleeping bag liiner and zip our bags together for tent camping, however in the tear, the liner gets in the way, even with the velcro on the sides that allows it to open down the side to get out. The side where it is stitched together interferes with getting the feet out effortlessly.
A tear should be as easy to get in and out of as your bed at home.

They seem pretty expensive. Why not use a double sleeping bag setup?

We got a double sleeping bag as a "throw-in" when we bought our popup, and hardly ever used it. Unless it was verrrrry cold weather, we were always too warm in it.

we have two fleece sleeping bags zipped together for cooler camping, never needed real sleeping bags in the tear.
