it need to cut half and add this pvc piping with fabric
then i have teardrop between tunnel-tent

I realize this is a very old thread but I just finished my side tent. It's based on a 4' EZup style cabana. I first had to line the walls with black cloth, because out of the box it was completely see through, especially at night with the light on. The fourth leg had a new lock hole drilled to mount on top of the fender by way of a thumb screw into a rivnut. I trimmed away the fabric around the fender and sewed in a wheel well cover made from canvas and that same black cloth. A large opening was made to accomodate the door with room at the top to clear the porch light. Snaps were mounted along the edge of the canopy with snap studs replacing a few edge screws at the top of the trailer. More snaps and studs below the door to support the wall below the trailer door. Small S-hooks and some rope adjusters made from random hardware items, along with similarly made attachment points on the opposite side of the trailer pull it tight at the top. I drilled a hole for another rivnut in the trailer frame just forward of the tent leg and made an L-bracket with a hole for another thumb screw to clamp the forward leg through a large buttonhole sewn into the fabric. A substantial amount of interfacing and general reinforcement of the seams was required to strengthen the tent walls, especially where it was cut up. The polyester fabric making up the walls frayed VERY easily where it was cut. It's all very sturdy now. I think the extra layer of fabric will help to keep it warmer in there on those cold mornings.
