Great use of space! Reminds me of a boat cabin. Everything in its place and no wasted space.

I love the roof and little upper side window. Is the larger side window an egress one?

I couldn't see in the picture where your spare rides. ???

No, the larger window is too small for egress. The only egress is the rear door.

The spare is on the hitch bar just in front of the trailer body (a recent addition).

Cool rig. I have a 5x9 myself. It's amazing what you can fit in these little rigs with a little planning. It's like playing Tetris. I set up mine like a teardrop, with a rear facing galley. See my gallery. Keep us posted on your progress.

I have the same floor mats on order!

So it looks like you have a wire rack fastened to the passenger side wall for your galley?

Those foam tiles are awesome. Just wipe or mop them down after a muddy weekend. :)

I got the wire rack from Amazon. The bottom of the vertical tubes are 1/4x20 threaded for casters. I just bolted two thru the floor and anchored two against the wall as well.

I installed the floor mats today, they should insulate the floor very well.

Did you fasten them down? Mine at just laying on the plywood. I was thinking of placing Tyvek between the tiles and ply to act s a vapor barrier and to catch the spilled Samuel Adams.

I just put the puzzle pieces together and jammed them into place, laying them on top of plywood. I was lucky in that the width was almost perfect, just a little tight. The length is about a quarter inch too long and I was hoping it would crush down but I think I will trim off a bit on the front wall end, because the door is very tight now. It took more time to unload all the stuff in the trailer than to install the flooring.

I got the 5/8" flooring, which seems to be about right. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DGCDYR0/

I slept in the trailer overnight, the low was 32F. I don't think the new flooring changed how cold it got in the trailer, but it is much warmer on the feet than cold plywood. It is much easier on the knees.

It covered up the cable hatch in the floor, which I use for an air intake vent (crack the roof vent, open the cable hatch). I may have to cut a circle shaped flap in the flooring to allow the cable hatch to be opened and used as a vent.

I am very surprised how comfortable it can be to sleep outside in an unheated trailer in cold weather. I always thought that temps under 50F would be very difficult. But with a 4" foam mattress, a 20F down bag and a fleece blanket covering the top of my head, it was very comfortable. I forgot it was cold out until I stuck my arm outside of the sleeping bag.

Here is my 10W solar electric system and my new foamy floor.

I use the system to charge a smartphone and an led light.
