Newbie from the Netherlands

Postby CulinaireZaken » Fri Feb 06, 2015 7:50 am

Hello everybody,

I'll do a short introduction of myself.

My name is Pieter, 30 years old and proud father of 2 kids (1,5 and 3,5 yrs).
I'm owner/chef/dishwasher of my own (bbq)catering company up in the north of the Neterlands.

My interest for this forum came with the plan to build a small bbq-trailer with a alu-skinned-foam booth.

There are a couple of chuck wagons on this forum. I built mine to keep all the cooking items close at hand and very convenient. The design worked out well and the extra side mount table added a lot of counter space. If you are towing a separate cooker perhaps you can tow doubles over there as I was able to here.

Scroll down about half way here http://www.tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=30307&start=75

The design drawing starts the build thread.

Thanks for the reply bobhenry!

I'm planning on building a cabinet style insulated smoker on the front of the trailer frame and build a foam "box" on the back with a hatch for vending.

Minor setback:

while i was nicely drawing away at hig-speed on the plans in AutoCAD the computer crashed. 4 hours drawing without saving, stupid....

Well, time to start again!
