The only thing I'm going to say about those, they can kind of suck. We had similar units (not sure of brand) when I was deployed, they often got dirty and wouldn't work as good and had to be cleaned, a couple times during a really hot day they iced over trying to keep up. We stayed in a room that if you picture a connex stacked on another, then several side by side and each one was a room you have a rough idea (though they built the frame, then used these panels they put into place as walls). Not bad, but I'd take the extra time to really plan them out.

Any A/C can suck if it is not sized correctly or there is some other problem. From what I've seen with houses split minis are very good and there are models that are so energy efficient it is hard to believe. Note: window units do not have to meet any energy codes; one reason they are cheap and inefficient.
