Newb from North

Postby arank1 » Sun Feb 15, 2015 6:45 pm

Hello all,
I am a total newb to the teardrop world. I am a fly fisherman and I have been thinking of a way to get an affordable trailer to camp in while I'm fishing. I stumbled upon teardrops and this forum have completely fallen in love with tears. I am very interested in building my own as a way to cut cost and also to get the tear that I want. I really like the Campinn 560 with the double bunks in the front. My wife and I are expecting are first child in July and plan on taking many trips all over the country with the family to come. Basically I want a very simple tear for my family to camp in with bunks in the front for the little guys. I figure when they get bigger they can sleep in a tent attached to the tear. Does anyone know how I could modify plans to include forward bunks? I'm very excited to delve into this world. Glad to be here, ready to learn!

Sincerely,

Alex

Welcome aboard Alex, precisely why I have my tear, a motel rm is north of $100 bucks so I just stay at the fishing spot. I also use it for the drag and lake races. Keep us tuned in! :D :D
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.

Yes, Welcome to the Forum.
We camped with our three kids from the time our oldest was 6 months old (Born in December)....wonderful times we will all remember for the rest of our lives.
They are all in there 30's now and we all still are avid campers!
Get out there and make some memories!! ;)
