The monitor I ordered has 2 video inputs so I can add a reverse camera on the back of the trailer as well. Cameras will be wired rather than wireless. If I plan right I am thinking I can possibly use the monitor inside the trailer while camping to lessen the clausterphobic feeling a bit, if I have another temp mount camera.
If y'all have any experience with this stuff or can offer critisism/thoughts on my ideas, I'd like to hear them.
I'm mounting cameras to the a few sides of my trailer. I went against the norm of adding windows to my CTC, so cameras will provide a view outside when parked and aid in backing when hooked. I wouldn't put a camera inside the trailer though, it just seems like a distraction. You'd also have to keep a light on in the trailer if you traveled at night.
It's really about what you want though, how much space will you have around the bike? I use two straps on the handle bars of my dirt bike, with the front tire in a HF locking wheel chock. I used to use CanyonDancers on my street bike, but they don't work well on my dirt bike. So long as you compress the shocks 2-4" (depending on the bike), you shouldn't have to worry about it once it's strapped in.
