darrellbeck,
Just to confirm....you did use the LT25 lamps with the ebay LED's you referenced? I just want to make sure the LED board fits the lamp.
Thanks,
Bob

I've been looking for some strip lights for under the cabinet use in our cabin. I am thinking seriously about these. Run on 12 VDC. 50 cm strip (20")puts out about 500 lumens.

5 pcs for <$18. Hong Kong direct. With the aluminum shell.

I took a chance and ordered a set of 5 of the ones in the previous post. Two to three weeks and I'll see what they are like and report.

I think I can wait to see about your results and then I will have Darrel's and your experience to draw form. I have time because I am starting to get many parts in now to keep me busy.

Just in the last few days, I received the PD4045, the fan for the water heater, the 30 amp receptacle for shore power, the wire for all the work I hope, new clearance lights and outside door lamp. Coming in the next few days will be the solar pump, the Suburban 6 gal water heater and a few more items. And a temperature laser reader. So my work is cut out for me.

But da(rn), it snowed again last night. Only 4 inches, but it takes away from my interest to get out there and work.

Costco had a two pack of Duracell branded led under counter lights with motion on for $30 at Christmas. They required 8AA batteries or about 12V. A little bit of Dremel and solder and I wired it to the battery. 500 lumens each. When the overhead LED and this are in it's like daytime.

Hi MtnDon, I am wondering if you have received your lights yet?

No, not yet. I am hoping for by the end of next week. The vendor was not the quickest at getting the order shipped.

Bob, the LED strips arrived today! It's not dark enough yet to really get a good feel for them but I think they will be fine for my purpose which is under the cabinet / over the kitchen counter in our cabin. I'll try them again later when it gets darker. They aren't as bright as the under the cabinet lights we have in the home here, but I think they are okay. Or I may double them up as I did get five and really didn't need them all. It was a package.
