This picture is from when I installed the interior wall. The walls will go up as a fully assembled and close to being finished aside from the poly that will need to go on the interior plywood.

Due to the fenders on the trailer being welded to the frame already the walls will have to be finished before they are attached. The next step will be to prep the exterior of the wall for primer/paint and then paint them before attaching them to the trailer.

I did my interior poly before standing the walls up and would recommend that you do it that way, too. Is there a specific reason why you wouldn't be able to do it that way?

Much easier to finish when they're laying down. "No runs, no drips, no errors." :D
I'll burn that bridge when I come to it.

I did it hard way and don't recommend it is so hard to get your brush in tight spaces.
You may be ok if you have sprayer or something like that.

Thanks for the info on doing the interior on saw horses before standing them up. I have the exterior of both walls sanded and ready for primer/paint. Once they are finished I will flip the walls over to finish the inside before putting the walls up.

One question on poly would be to find out if anyone knows how wood glue adhears to a finished wall?

I went to the trouble of masking off glue areas with blue painter's tape. Leave the tape back from your finished edge a good 1/8 to 1/4 inch (depending on whether it is a finer cabinetry joint or a larger structural joint) to be sure that none of the raw wood shows. Then after you are done finishing, you can peel the tape off and have a good surface to glue to.

The finished wall will be easier to clean any glue squeeze out off of, if you get to it right away. If you decide to mask your finished edges to protect them from glue squeeze out, be sure to tack the tape on your shirt or pant leg first, or even use a hair dryer or heat gun to lightly warm the tape before peeling it off; otherwise you run the risk of peeling the finish up. (I learned that one the hard way.)

I wouldn't fuss too much over the painted side. Paint covers any glue soaked areas, whereas stain and poly won't.

My experience is that TB2 doesn't stick to poly. Fortunately, it was dribbles, not something important. Mask like KC said.

I have 2 coats of primer on the walls now. The only problem is that the primer is super stinky and has to be applied above 50°F. The weather has turned cold for the next 2 weeks so there wont be much progress until it warms up so I can paint with the garage doors open.

This is a cool project, on a great custom trailer frame. I'm looking forward to see how your build unfolds.

Well a full week with no progress. It looks like next week the weather is going to turn into my favor and the last coat of primer and paint can go on.

I am not on their site. I have looked at a few of those builds and have a few ideas for mine from what I saw.

Well the weather finally turned and I was able to finish up the primer and paint on the side walls. Today they got put up for the final time and attached. The back wall also got cut and is now installed. The hole for the AC also got cut out.

Next up is building the interior and galley cabinets.
