I got lucky on my floors, installed in 1965 when the house was built, covered sometime during the 70s with carpet, and remained covered until last July when I tore out the worn carpet in my bedroom.

Those walk behind sanders make quick work of it and a smooth finish. But dang talk about alot of sawdust! I did a floor that had water damage in the finish, sanded it down into the good and refinished it dang it looked great!

We had a pipe freeze a few months ago and I had to rip the ceiling in the Bathroom to fix the leak. Well, that just gave me an excuse to tear out the the BR and Laundry and update it. Here are the pics of the full rip and then the new tile I just laid a couple days ago (still need to tile shower and grout the whole thing).

I also through in a pic of the garden for good measure...that was LAST spring's project. The upper area of the yard used to be a slope down to what is now the garden. I spent a looong time digging it all out. I also wired the whole thing with drip sprinklers so the veggies grow while we're camping.

Ben, Rocky and Matt! I'm sick of mowing all of my lawn..two acres..I'd love to do some gardens like yours..Where do you get inspiration?? I did a deck that covered about 400 sq-ft..1.99 acres to go!! :?

We had a flower bed between the deck and the barbeque area that we couldn't get anything to grow in. Since we live on a lake we didn't want a pond. (The duck's and geese would eat the fish.) So I made this fountain.
I sunk a 55 gallon plastic barrel in the middle, dug the flowerbed out like a bowl and put a pond liner in it with a x cut over the barrel, and then put a pump in the barrel and covered it with a galvanized grate. Then I covered the whole thing with stones.

Here's a link to the first house I've been working on. The deck in the picture was not there or the door going out to it. We also cut a hole in the foundation to the basement for an egress where we added a bedroom.

The only reason I got it was to "flip it". I post pictures of the second one soon. Should be done in a month.
