Glad you enjoyed the pictures.
I think the Pontiac fenders will be well worth the work in the end.
They allowed me to move the axle ahead 6" which will reduce my tongue weight and give Kermit better proportion.
Also the wheel openings are much nicer and cover the tire more (Chev had a full radius opening) and there are three nice raised ribs to give the trailer more horizontal lines.
But, the real work and creativity will be the nose!
Blending three completely different vehicles together (late 30' car, late 40's car & late 40's truck) to achieve the "look" of a traditional "Camp-Inn" trailer, is the challenge that got me started on this project in the first place.
Oops....I almost forgot the 73 VW bus trunk lid??
