Hi from downunder

Postby pete49 » Fri Mar 20, 2015 8:09 am

Hi guys
Just joined up but have been reading for quite a while. My wife and I live in South Australia at the top of Spencers Gulf, the gateway to the Flinders Ranges. I was about to start a TD build but a nice little unit came along and at a good price so now its mine. Already been to Qld in it to visit our son and really enjoyed the trip. Much more relaxing than towing the caravan and saved heaps fuel wise :D . I read this forum everyday but I tend not to add comments unless it helps the discussion. I hope to widen my knowledge of TD's as I still intend to build my own if I get the chance and the collective knowledge here will certainly help.
I enjoy the articles here and the great pics of various campsites.
cheers
Pete

Welcome to the forum, Pete.
Visiting the land down under is at the top of my bucket list. I want to dive the Barrier Reef before I get too old to do it!! :R
You'll find there are a number of campers from Oz on this forum, and the Camp-Cook forum also. If you want to see more about the area my spouse and I like to camp at and do our outdoor cooking, click on one of the icons below to view. You'll find lots of great ideas and folks on this site, as well as on your continent. Happy trails to you as you go caravaning,
Joanie
