Bought the pod last winter and usedit a bit last year. It had vinyl on it and the ply was rotten. Stripped it off last week and put one big piece of aluminum and beefed up the ribs, they were 3/4'' lathes I have put 2"x 1" .

Wow! 3/4" lathe and rotten ply? I'll bet you're glad you saw that before something bad happened! I wonder what they used for the deck.

Your tow vehicle and teardrop are a nice combination. The shapes complement each other well. You'll have that teardrop in tip-top shape in no time.
