So I am interested in a basic teardrop or something similar to a Runaway... Something easy to build. Any recommendations? :D

Welcome to the Forum from another PNW member.
I can't really recommend anything specific to you right now, as I am a "Non Traditional" builder, and I am not familiar with a "Runaway".
But I can give you some advice.
Build 5' wide for sure.
Use a rubber ride torsion type axle. (Dexter's are Great at $235.00)
Use as large of wheels as you can (15" if possible)
Check in with Grant Whipp before you build anything!
Make sure you think light weight and water tight throughout your build.
