Good going on the build...

I know it is great to have such amazing kids.
They love the caravan already as you can see. I hope they build their own too

Silly question, as you probably have this organised already. But looking at your windows, what have you got to channel the rain water outside?

Also I will be applying 'mesh' (Whitebait net mesh) insects to the outside of the doors (behind a wooden' frame' )
I think this will trap a lot of rain too

(As well as slow down sand flies)

So I was wondering.. for the trim/ flashing over the wall/ roof join you all use Aluminium

I was wondering would PVC work? I ask because I have been exprimenting, it ripples on the side when you bend it around a curve, but a gentle blow with a heat gun and it shrinks in good and tight.

What do you fellas think?

I recon you might be playing with fire mate.
Slightest warpage or crack and you got leaks and ruin all your hard work.
That's just my opinion though

Ulrich have rv molds and you fix them on then put a rubber strip in. Para will have the strip if ulrich don't. You can get whit trim with a black insert, might look nice against you white.

I think I would agree with Dale on the pvc.
I just used unequal right angle, 25x12. You need to have the smaller edge to the inside of the curve, but it will want to twist out a bit. Just take it slowly it will go down ok. I didn't use any screws around the edges of the side walls so didn't need to cover anything down there.

I cut the door holes out of the ACL before I glued them on so that I could screw the doors in to help secure it to the walls and clamped everywhere else. Over the top the ACL was glued along the sides and all the beams and screwed around all the edges where they would be hidden by the alloy trim. The alloy trim was glued (the glue is a glue and sealant) and screwed with countersunk screws. The trim down the sides of the hatch (where the ACL came out past the frame) was just glued, but with a pop rivet each end.
