Not a Teardrop but still small from Florida

Postby Steve W » Thu Apr 09, 2015 9:49 am

I recently purchased a small trailer. It is called a Runaway trailer. They are manufactured here in Florida. So, I didn't do the build but am trying to set it up to my liking. I am still trying to get some ideas on how to make it as simple as possible but yet comfortable to travel in. I like to do road trips and hate to stay in motels. I like nature areas, parks and such but not into the tent thing. So, I thought this might fill the bill.
As you can see, I have not put much in it yet. Just the sofa/bed. It does have a built in A/C in the front.

Welcome. Your trailer looks like fun. The stripes match the tow vehicle. Enjoy and show us pictures as you personalize it and make it yours

Thanks Dan for the compliment.I had them put the gull wings on to match my Ford Escape. I wanted a simple and clean look.
I am wrestling with different ideas on things to make it simple but comfortable for extended road trips that I take. I am trying to be careful not to put too many things inside to take up what little room I have.
BTW, I really like the looks of your trailer too.

Hi and welcome, you'll find some super knowledgeable and friendly folks here, they help me a lot! We live about 60 miles north of Orlando. Really like the design of your camper!

Ooh! The Runaways are on my "short list" for the TTT I'm hoping to get in 2017 (following a tow vehicle in 2016). I'm already a member of the FB group. How has yours been treating you so far?
SonriaCat's plan is a tow vehicle in 2016 and a TTT in 2017.
Now let's see how the reality goes!

Looks good to me; I think I'm going to build something similar. "Tent replacement" is the operative concept...
