She's stoked I'm building one and I'm sure she'd love to see one.
She's a good olé choock and just off the sylvan Ave off ramp by the birkenhead off ramp.
Wasn't expecting you to make a special trip but if you got 10 mins to spare she makes a great plunger coffe:)

 Christchurch to the North Shore, in ten minutes, in an Anglia towing a TD? Might be pushing it a bit unless you borrow the Anglia off Ron Weasley (Harry Potters sidekick).

Well it has been 5 weeks since I touched my teardrop :(

First of all I need to say thank you to you all!
about October last year I began to slip into a state of depression caused by my workplace and pressures from other organisations.
Building my teardrop was my outlet.

Anyway I changed jobs and quit all my volunteer work.
I am no longer drinking a dozen or more beers a day, (more like a DOZEN A MONTH) am not taking risks in my car and am caring about life.
I tried hard to be positive and upbeat on here as this was my 'island of happiness'
Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read my thread.

Anyway back to my teardrop
I have resumed work on her and am beginning to add trim to the inside of the doors as this was a simple way to begin the weatherproofing process. (My joinery was worse than I thought initially due to my more haste less speed attitude.

I have ordered a sheet of signboard for my hatch and have plans to get this underway ASAP

I will add pictures tomorrow

bugger it I braved the frosts and hungry cats to take a photo for you guys.
This was just a mock up but gives the idea of how it will look, I may place a horizontal piece making it a 3 piece arch instead of a 2 piece apex.

I know there is a small gap at the very top, the whole lot needs to drop 8mm

I know what it's like to change your lifestyle and have also greatly curtailed my drinking over the last year ; limited now to only special occasions like xmas dinner and when on vacation.

Good on you for taking care of yourself and having the bolas to share your "stuff". We have your back.

Build on.

Hi Glenn, glad to see you are getting back in to it. Spring is on its way and you will be able to head up to Kaikoura soon and start enjoying camping with your family :vroom:
:snow: Has it been cold enough for you down there. Us softies in the north are finding it bad enough, we dropped down to 0 deg this morning. Its not often that we hit the minus side of the thermometer up here. :snowstorm:
Keep that build going, and as KC said
