Newbie, Marine from Pendleton, CA

Postby ZapataUSMC » Sun Apr 26, 2015 11:48 am

My name is Mike. A little bit about myself: I currently live on Camp Pendleton, CA as an active duty Marine. I have been for some time a disaster preparedness enthusiast. I am married with 2 sons. I am wholeheartedly inspired by the discovery of this forum and interested in the near future, when finances permit, to take on building or purchasing(whichever is more cost-effective according to my specifications) a teardrop trailer for the family.

First and foremost Mike, I thank you for your service to our country, in my opinion it takes a special person and Family to make that commitment! This is a great site with good talented people who are happy to share knowledge and info. Good luck with what ever you decide to do ( build or buy )

You might want to take a quick trip to the Little Guys trailer dealer - Ronson Road @ the 163. They have just about every model in stock right now.
I would bring my T@G to work but not really want to try Rattlesnake Canyon Road. If I know that I will be at 1stMSOB / DLI / Area 41, I can see if I can let you know but I usually have a short notice to get there. I guess I should check that I can even bring it in first.

Thanks for the heads up! I looked up the location on Yelp. Since I'm currently on leave, I'll definitely have to stop by and take an up front gander on the inside of the trailers to give me an idea on either purchasing or building a similar model myself.

We started looking last July. Nice people, let us lay in them, let the dog get in. Went back 5 times before we settled on one and ordered it in November.

They have just about everything including ALiners and some other brands.
