I'm Brad, and I hail from Rome, GA. I joined here because I'm researching a build I would like to do. Haven't chiseled in stone a design yet, but I'm partial to the Sawtooth XL/Grasshopper style camper. I have an old pop-up that was given to me by my folks, but much of the wood is rotted. I had planned to replace all the wood and use it, but after a little web surfing Im now leaning toward stripping everything off the frame and building back onto that. Will probably replace the axle to something heavier duty and with 5 lugs to open up my options on tire/wheel size.
Anyway, while I am new here, I am not new to forums. I belong to many, mostly motorcycling. So I know all about using the Search function to find info on a certain subject instead of starting a new post/thread asking a question that's probably been answered 500 times. Look on any bike forum and see how many times someone has asked "What oil should I use?" or "What tires should I run?", it becomes a running joke.
I probably won't be posting much to start, instead I'll be reading different threads soaking up the knowledge that I've learned is available here after a week or so of lurking. Well, Let me get off of here and back to reading.
