Teardrops n Tiny Travel Trailers

Hey everybody have a question.

I'm salvaging a 2011 K-Z sportsman travel trailer for the parts and 2 parts on the roof seem to have been hot glued on. A vent with fan and a TV antenna. Any ideas how to remove the glue? I mean this stuff is tough.

It also has a 4'x6' slide out that works if anybody is interested. Too big for my trailer or I'd try it.

If it's got a plastic flange be careful. I would heat a putty knife and try to work it into the seal.

Maybe just keep cutting the glue in the same spot with a sharp blade, that or heat as previously mentioned

Doublacola, Howdy;

Rv roof huh ? Is it a rubber roof? If so then the most likely glued it down with
Dicor's self-leveling sealant. It is NOT a silicone as silicone and rubber roofs
don't like each other.
Take your utility knife and just cut along the edge of whatever you want to remove
look around for screws or other fasteners they may be hiding below the sealant. re.,
the tv antenna, undo all the bits on the inside of the RV first. As for the vent there are
some things inside that might hang you up also. Drop the trim ring and have a look-see.
Then you can do your Incredible Hulk impression and rip them off the roof off.
