Well, I guess since I started this thread, I should reply?
Thanks to those that have responded.....glad to hear you are all still out there doing something!
We are in the beautiful theme town of Winthrop Wa. for the weekend at our favorite campground "Pine Near" and will soon be down at our favorite pub "School House Pub" drinking some smooth black porter.
Perfect time of year for camping in Washington before the kids get out of school and the campgrounds get busy.
Mostly Canadians here this weekend as it is a holiday weekend for us! Victoria Day.
Will be making waffle dogs for my granddaughter tomorrow morning.

I've been gardening. Prepping to plant this year's crop by clearing the borders outside the fenced garden. Hoping it'll be as good as last years and even bigger since I've been clearing an additional 8'x16' outside the deer/rabbit/vole/mole-proofed area. More garden details here http://tnttt.com/gallery/album.php?album_id=3969

And enjoying the parrot tulips I planted last fall! Have taken two plane trips so far this year but no trailer excursions

Health issues has kept me away.
On May 5th I had a feeling of disorientation when I bent over to pick up a board- so I quit for the day. The next day, I was a little worse and that night when I lay down in bed it felt like I was falling- really falling, with nothing to hold on to. A day later and no better, my wife marched me to the doctor, who hadn't seen me for 2 years. a spinning bed when I rolled over was the last straw. Long story short- I had BPPV and a couple physical therapy sessions has me almost back to normal.
I'm back on my Weekender-XL build and the sink is installed.
I miss having my midwest garden. ( the Burpee and Fields garden/seed catalogs got me through the winter) I put in a nice garden for 2 years running when I first moved to SW-FL- planted in February and by April the bugs and varmints had found the buffet-- all gone-
Like you Stacie, I would have to totally fence and also use porch screening to keep out all the insects, birds and reptiles.
I do have a really big crop of coconuts- getting that palm trimmed next week.

Today I had a garage sale, a quite unsuccessful one, and then we cleaned up the garage a bit. It's much cleaner, all the saw dust and trimmings from honey-do projects finally in the trash/organized. Just need to find a cheap trailer so I can get started on the camper! Unfortunately, everyone out here (or within a few hour drive for that matter) selling a trailer whether new or used seems to have made them out of some type of precious metal. I'm on a serious budget right now with the wife not working, but at least I would be able to start the planning stages with some wheels.

We just recently stripped the upstairs bathroom down to the studs and rebuilt/replaced everything. Turned out great, but what a mess we had for awhile. Getting the garden and yard in order. I just had surgery on my arm, nothing serious, I'll live. Had it done at the Madison, Wi Veterans Hospital, where everyone was very kind and professional.

Bob is still enjoying retirement. I was promoted into another, more preferable (Yay, off my aching feet!) job, still with middle of the week days off (better for camping!). Will be sewing new slipcovers for the lawn chairs and chaise cushions tomorrow. Since Bob isn't going to enter any of his HO scale railroad buildings this year, I better get going on my N scale diorama I want to enter in a local contest the middle of June. Bob got first place in his category last year, and I didn't enter as we don't like to compete against each other. This year is my turn.

We did make it to "Cooler Near the Lake" at Koehler Andrea State Park the last weekend of April. Though "cooler", we had a great time. Probably won't get to go on a camping roadtrip until the first week of June, or the 3 weeks thereafter. Meanwhile, there's always backyard camping :) !

I have been sewing making a bag for a fold up chair and for my side changing room, heming pants and misc little projects. I am also working on little things on my foamie (for Gage) Benroy shaped tiny teardrop trailer. I call it "Grits".

I've been building "Conch Fritter" and try to post as often as possible on updates. Getting ready for our trip up to NY in late June to see step-grandson graduate HS and then go on to attend the same university as my daughter and brother attended.

It's spring so I've been mowing the lawn. I swear the first area cut is ready for a trim as soon as I get the last bit done.

Trying to get the barn, er.. trailer shop whipped into shape so I can start rebuilding the Lo-Liner. I hope to get away for a mid-week trip or two in the teardrop before heading north to the Farm Gathering.

Spent the last two weeks prepping and finally refinishing the trailer. Sprayed on the varnish this time and so much happier with the results. And overall spruce up after 6 years. New teardrop time license plate holder, new tires, check bearings, new seals, panted the tongue box, new door seals. Few more finishing touches and he's a new whale.
