Been busy redoing our trailer and camping.
Someday, we will learn to take living in stride. Sometime, we will learn to pay less attention to the imagined and stop fussing about things we had nothing to do with in the past - and cannot change significantly in the future. Very soon, we will sit together in the sun a whole day and just be happy that we can sit together in the sun all day and just be happy.

Lilly and I are finishing up our Tim Lemke inspired vardo. We wanted a standy to take to the farm, we will still use our Retro Ride for long hauls.

We now have a stove, dry sink, twin benches, a slide out table, and, a composting commode that all can be used without exiting the camper. I forgot, yes, there is a bed. Memorial weekend will its first outing. It was a 7 week build.

We chose a C'Head composting toilet, it is wonderful. Now we can say, "our poo doesn't stink."

We hope to have it at CRA.

Finishing #3.

She's damn roomy for a five-wide. At least in the panorama.

Just #1. The second went to my sis. This one? It's a secret for a while, but it's going away and no, I'm not in the business of making and selling teardrops.

Thanks, Stacie!

I copy the details on my old Hunter teardrop –everything seems to work. (Or is it that after eleven years of teardropping, I'm just habituated?) I'll stack that simple galley for functionality over anybody's! It's a good thing we're all different or this board would be a dull journey.

Hi everyone, I have just spotted this thread, and had been wondering the same thing.
We are well in to autumn down in this part of the world, winter officially arrives at the end of next weekend. We have been getting a bit of camping time in, check my travels here.http://tnttt.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=61399&start=90. Sunday, this weekend, we are doing a day trip with our local car club, up to the Hokianga Harbour. The following weekend is Queens Birthday Weekend. We are having three nights in Hamilton for the Capri Car Club NZ, AGM. I have been giving the old green Consul Capri a polish up and doing a few maintenance jobs, and doing a few minor things in the TD galley. Before the Coromandel trip I had been doing a lot of things to the Super Snipe that I had been putting off foe a few years.

Yesterday Fred and I took The Glampette and Northern Lite Traveler out to ease back into camping this season. Found a new campground with water/electricity and within the maximum 5 mile range of pizza delivery. The Thermacell worked really well keeping the Mosquitos at bay. The evening was chilly at 35 degrees but we survived.

I took the day off from building and have been enjoying a glut of motor racing on the tellie today: Indy 500 (just not the same without Jim Nabors); tail end of F1 from Monte Carlo; Coke 600 from Charlotte is nearing the end now; and will be switching over to the drags from Topeka very shortly.

Nitro rules!!! pop pop. :R

I just returned from a trip to Alaska, took my mom up to stay with my sister and her husband at least for the summer. After soo many years of taking care of mom and dad and now mom I need to put myself first and get a few health things checked out. Hoping to get in many camping trips this summer, Bear Head State Park and Mystery Cave State park in Minnesota with two of my grandkids then another with a 3rd. Aiming for Walk the Winds for my Birthday. Love my mom and miss her a lot but I know she is in good hands and hoping the change may have better results than I was getting.
