Grant,
I bought my windows and eyebrows from you. 5 hour drive from the Bay Area is a bit much, but feel free to let me know price and shipping...between your days off

I did a similar job using aluminum tube.
Built a wooden jig what sits over the tablesaw blade. Then feed the tube through.
A protruding pin within the jig follows the saw kerf keeping a straight cut.

If you are in the Bay Area, why not just run down to All-Rite Aluminum in Hollister and buy direct ... they do retail sales from that location.

The cost from me is $3.50 per foot plus S&H ... which in CA (if 8' lengths are needed) can be $30-$40 +/-. All-Rite stocks it in 16' lengths (so do I, but I can't ship that long).

Good luck, and ...

Hi Friends, My friend Tom Gains owns Notely's Canvas here in Chico, CA. and they build beautiful awnings and would be able to supply both professional grade supplies, design and advise. Their contact info is; Notely's Canvas 14 Freight lane Chico, CA 95973 (530) 342-9278. They also specialize in custom camping/boating coverings and industrial needs. Their quality exceeds the value they provide. They ship UPS/FEDX daily.
Enjoy, Chris

An alternative to an awning... I just found a huge screen tent that will be my solution for shade/rain shelter/bug defense. It's Cabelas' Eagle Camp 17x15 Screen house. I plotted the footprint with my proposed trailer footprint on graph paper and it fits well inside with plenty of room to have a couple chairs, work in the galley and have access to both doors of the cabin. Please understand I plotted the approximate shape of the tent with the approximate shape of the TD. I will have to see how it all works when I get the TD built and tent set up around it, but, the price of $150 was to good to pass. I don't expect it to be the greatest quality coming from Cabelas... we'll see. Picking up the tent this weekend and starting the Tear build next week.

I looked at just using a pop up canopy but was worried about a stiff wind banging it into the side of the TD and denting the skin.
