Hi Matt My son and I built ours when he was 15. When I was doing complicated or cool thing I made him watch. We made our hatch frame from 1" tube steel and I patiently taught him to roll steel professionally. I directed him to fabricate and weld the whole thing. His was super impressed by how it all turned out. Four year later he is a metal fabricator/ welder and has a lifelong career. Cool trailer, cool Dad.
