But how well will it stick to the aluminum top? I know prep is everything, but???
I don't want to have to peel/scrape off some gunk that didn't adhere very well.

For the Enviro-White should I set my no drill solar panel mounts first so it adheres to the aluminum and not the paint? Or will it be fine vise versa

I would do the solar mount first. Otherwise you are mounting to the layer of coating and not to the metal.

Gunman9, Howdy;

X2 what Cindy said ... just remember to give those areas a good thorough
cleaning before installing the mounts.

Good question..... short answer - IDK

I did mine in the middle of heavy pollen season (March/April), just hosed it (aluminum roof) off with water (no soap, no scrubbing)....let it dry briefly, then painted......waited the next day, hosed off again, painted again.......I was on top of the roof, with all my body-weight and tennis shoes on the roof, no damage......waited several days, then painted the 3rd coat, repeat for the 4th........slopped it on heavy around my vents (it also seals, read product)......by the 4th coat, I was just pouring it on and using a ½" heavy nap roller to move it around. I'll let you know in 5 years how its done..... :twisted:

How do you keep it from going over the edge?

Do you mask it?
