Did you get the Cargo Craft? If so, what do you think about it?

I am looking at the same.

Thanks,

I'm not the OP, but I did buy a Cargo Craft. Custom ordered it through a local dealer from the Georgia Plant, had a few issues, but the factory really backed it up well. In short, I would do it again.

This post covers a similar discussion to the above... (although out West, Mirage makes a "cargo craft" model), mine is Cargo Craft the company, which manufactures in Georgia and Texas. My responses regarding our choices near the bottom page 1, and link to my build there as well.

We did go with the Cargo Craft. In the midst of our build right now, just haven't gotten around to making a thread and posting pics. We're pretty happy with it. Nothing that makes me say "wow, great trailer!" but it's fine for our needs. They used screws to attach the plywood (standard) and when we pulled it all down to insulate things were fine. They installed two windows and one in the RV door for us and those seem to be fine. We had some ridiculous rain here in Colorado last month and things were nice and dry inside.

One headscratcher was when we were installing the 1/4" luan we bought to cover the ceiling insulation. As we pre-drilled into the last metal ceiling stud (1" square steel tubing like the walls) near a wall some clear water came out. Not a ton. So we immediately stopped, pulled the insulation down and looked closer. We hadn't drilled through the roof but couldn't figure out the water. The only thing I can think is that it was trapped inside during construction? No other issues drilling in to other parts of that same ceiling tube. Probably a fluke but my husband resealed the roof as we were about to head out camping that weekend. I'm sure this isn't Cargo Craft-specific but could happen to anyone.

I've got a Cargo Craft on order out of the Georgia facility now. Should be ready in about 4 weeks, hope I'm pleased with it. I guess we'll know around the end of June.
