New guy saying hello

Postby TwoFeetShorter » Wed Jun 17, 2015 5:47 pm

Hello all! I'm B Neil Brown, and have been a forum lurker for months now researching teardrops and little campers. I just started my build so I figured I needed to register just so I could say THANK YOU to everyone here who have made or replied to posts that helped me plan my build.

A little about myself:
I am a retired Fire Fighter/EMT, and am a published author. I lost my legs and part of my hand 4.5 years ago to a freak illness, so I am now a disabled triple amputee who doesn't consider himself disabled!
I have a son about to turn 20, and that scares me to death. I am also a certified entomologist, although I am no longer in that industry, or any other. I turn 42 in a week or so, and while I no longer have legs I still have all my hair, so life is good.
When I am not building on my trailer I am training Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, riding my motorcycle (that only has TWO wheels  ), writing my next book, and generally bumming around as only a 40 something retiree can!

Feel free to check out my build page:

Welcome to the madness ;)
I have long thought that a teardrop would be ideal for those with a challenge.

Hi Neil. You are an inspiration sir! The sign on the old shop wall says," Hard work will be done immediately! Impossible work will take a little longer". Hey you're retired.
If we can help, let us know.
Enjoy, Chris

A little more about me

Postby TwoFeetShorter » Mon Jun 22, 2015 12:21 pm

So my passions in life are motorcycles and Jiu-Jitsu.
Here are a few pictures of me with my bike and training/competing in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu

No legs does not mean no life!

When I get my TD done In plan on loading the bike in the back of the truck and travelling wherever I can find awesome Pedro Sauer Jiu-Jitsu schools.
Hopefully during the winter I will find good schools in the SOUTH!
