Started getting the interior panels up. It' time consuming planning wiring,,,
I will add some trim to cover the joints in the 5/16th pre-finished panels

Cut in the water, power and outdoor faucet hookups.
Added a light above them as well.

Not happy with my caulk job though...
But they wont leak...

Added wooden rings behind them for strength.

Thermostat, tank monitor and water heater switch roughed in.
I about went crazy trying to figure out how many wires I needed for the water heater, fridge, furnace LP/CO detector etc in the smurf tube.

Floor is in, nothing special just a vinyl laminate.

Cabinets are being worked on in the shop.
Brackets are being made for holding the holding tanks ( 2 - 39 gallon tanks)

The Awning showed up today as well.

I have a questions about the vinyl flooring.

Did you have to paint or prime the subfloor first?
Was there any preparation before gluing it in?
Did you have to use anything other than the regular vinyl flooring adhesive?

Think about what you are gluing to ... a solid substrate or an applied surface that can peel off......
and ... having a clean surface is the very important,
Just food for thought.

I used some filler (Bondo) to cover the screw heads and the small gap between the plywood sheeting.
Yes, the Bondo will crack between the plywood sheets, but that's better than a gap with vinyl over it.

I just used standard general purpose floor glue made for vinyl, worked fine.

The underside is sealed with an external primer. I screwed 2 inch pink foam insulation to that and sealed the cracks between the insulation and the trailer with foam spray.

It's holding fine, sealed up well.

Haven't been able to work on the trailer all week.
Headed out now to work on it though!!!

Hopefully the cabinets are done (dads a carpenter) so they can go in.

Going to try and get the 2 39 gallon tanks mounted below.

Mounted the Shade Maker Supreme XL bracket... A little concerned about the other brackets not lining up as i had to go most of the way up the rounded roof... (More pics later will clear this up)

I took some 1/2" x 3/4" aluminum angle and riveted through the rail bracket, through the roof and through the angle iron (aluminum) to spread the load across the entire length instead of just 24 rivet points.
Considering teh Shademaker only weighs 28 pounds, it should be fine.
More pics of it later.

Put some butyl tape under it as well.
I'll run a bead of caulk as well

Got both 39 Gallon tanks installed
They fit between the 24" floor supports with 2 inches to spare on the sides.
They rest on the joist on one side, and a 2"x3" piece of angle iron/bracket i made on teh other.

I cut up some bike inner tubes so the metal wont cut a hole in the tank.

There is 2 inches of foam above them, with spray in expanding foam sealing the seams.

Should have the cabinets in this weekend, and I can get started on electrical/plumbing/propane.
