Hello from the Valley Of The Sun. Apparently me or my wife signed up here in 2008 but we never posted. We love to camp, but the days of sleeping in a tent and sleeping bag/cot are over. Our original plans were to build a small cabin on our property in Central/Eastern Arizona (Show Low are for those who know Arizona) but decided that kind of locks us in to an area all the time. So we decided on a trailer. My days of owning a full size truck are also behind me so we need something that can be towed by my ford Escape, and I can think of nothing better to fit the bill than a teardrop trailer. My wife is a fan of the more 'tear' shape, but I like the Benroy, but since I'm building it we'll see.................. I plan on starting the build in the mid or late fall since we are currently in a predicted stretch of 10 (or more) days in a row of 110° or higher temps. Working outside or in a un-cooled garage are out of the question right now.
