working on my slide out electrical panel. Not much room under the oven so ill have this slide out board with all my electrical bolted to it. ill have a Converter, 1500 watt inverter, 12V block and a ground block. eventually a solar 3 way power spliter or something that will switch incoming power from the house or solar. ill mount the charge controller up higher where its easily visable. near the light switches.

Finally got my beds all done!!! This is 2 sets of bunks and the top bed has a hinged section that turns the top bunks into a full size bed=) sleeps 5 comfortably :) I also insulated half my ceiling, WOW what a difference. you can really feel it radiants a lot less heat into the space.

PS i make these beds if anyone's interested. their $500 per set plus shipping. the fabric on the drivers side is additional. fabric on the right is included in the $500

Starting to work on my fresh water system. bought a 20 gallon 16x36x8 tank. its not all the way up in the pic but being close to the axle and above the axle line it should be good. Bought a real small pump i hope it works its only 1GPM but im only going to have a sink and a outdoor shower. plus i don't want to empty the 20 gallons to fast=) should be a low amp draw on my battery system only. i dont want a genset and am buying solar soon. the brackets are just set in place for a visual they'll be located more towards the center and beefed up some for final installation.

Just an idea here, if you turn the angle iron the other way, and wrap it around the ends of the tank you can gain 1-1/2" 0f ground clearance. Maybe? Also that would limit any lateral (side to side) movement.

thanks Dave. i liked that idea just couldn't come up with a good way to hit the sides of the trailer. then i thought this would be 36" to hit rather then a full 72" going all the way across. most the places we go are pretty soft so it will just dig in

Yeah fresh water system is in :D :D :D 20 gallon tank, 3GPM pump and outdoor shower all working. ill add a sink and instant water heater latter. I failed on my first try. i bought a cheap 1GPM pump off the local classifieds first. it was sucking to far, had to have a self prim bulb and it wouldn't hardly put out a drizzle by the time it got to the shower. the 3GPM pump rocks.

Yeah i made it 4 days in 90+ degree heat with my new 280 watt solar panel. my stupit inverter fans still really noisy and runs during the hot hours of the day but at least my batteries didn't die and no fridge! we were also able to take about 4 showers with our 20 gal fresh water tank so that rocked! Still need to finish wiring and mount the solar on the roof.

Got through 4 days in the Utah desert with my 280 watt solar running a 3.3 cu ft fridge, LED lights and 3GPM water pump. I took 4 showers. temps luckily cooled off from 100's into the 85-92 range. most afternoons were overcast. the wind blew the entire time luckily cooling my trailer off. There was a dude there with quite a big wind turbine, about 3' blades. i was Jealous as he was charging in the night and on the overcast days

We'll as much as i love the look of pergo, wood or laminate flooring i ordered some black rubber diamond tread today for my CTC. ive owned 3 toy haulers and one of my trailers had this and it moped up nicely, its anti skid, very durable so i went with that. because im hauling bikes if i have a slippery surface ill have everything in the trailer sliding around every time i hit the brakes scratching the floor and everything else up. plus there will be a time ill have to load wet bikes and they'll drip water on the floor so pergo is out.

Also can you give me a link for the diamond rubber mat? I think that's the right solution for me as well.
Thanks, McDave
