Man I wish we could come. No time left to take off work and I will be burning midnight oil in shop to get ready for several craft shows in Oct and Nov. Hope everyone has fun..... Eat some good food for us...

Doggone! We'd really planned to make this gathering (tear should be finished well before that time) but that weekend is my annual trip to Shawnee Nat'l Forest, IL for a week's squirrel hunting, music, eating, BS, etc., with a group of folks from near'n far (at least as far away as Great Britain) that I've been meeting with for several years. Think I've talked my wife into going with me this year (as long as the TD is done

). We'll miss seeing all you folks at Grand Lake but hopefully we'll make the next one wherever it is :thumbsup:

Sorry, Nobody... it's hard to please everybody . If I can get my teardrop campable before then, I'm hoping to go up there for at least a weekend, and a preview. There's enough OK AR people that we should consider it for an October campout , if not too cold. Fall colors might be nice up there.

Wasn't complaining Julie, just lamenting my/our misfortune at having to miss one of two fine events :cry:

. We'd planned to make Grand Lake if at all possible. Think I've almost got my wife talked into going to the Shawnee hunt with me. The TD should be finished by then (maybe even have its maiden voyage behind us) & she'll be more comfortable

Alright....what a list!!! :applause:

I'm going to call the manager up there again and tell him what we've got so far and make sure he'll guarantee me 10 MORE spots!! And maybe put the pressure on to make sure that we'll be together. I told him originally it could be up to 15 and sure enough, looks like it will be!!!
