Hi all, new here but long time TD owner wannabe. been into camping/caravanning since I started under canvas in the scouts as a lad, now fast approaching the half century. now my girls are getting old enough to leave at home (their choice) and it's only me and the wife, I've thought about getting rid of my sprite caravan for something smaller. my knees wont take kindly to camping in a tent again so I've been looking at TD's. after typing in diy teardrops into google the other day on the off chance people had done their own
, here I am, and to say the least I'm blown away by the build threads/workmanship and general sharing of info/ideas to get each other out of problems etc. So I will be here for a good while, the big problems now are, design/style and materials
has anyone done a pull out back like in the pic of a VW T5 below?
