Two hour delay......

Postby Larwyn » Sat Jun 03, 2006 8:33 am

I was working out of town last week and on the way home yesterday, barely 20 miles into a 260 mile drive, I remembered seeing a store in Garland that I wanted to check out. I took the exit which I thought would get me there but turned the wrong way looking for it. Due to construction I was not able to get back onto the highway after giving up so had to continue driving around lost for a few minutes when, out of the corner of my eye, I saw the sign; "Rockler Wood Working and Hardware".....!!!!!!! Found it, even if by accident.

It's like walking around in a Rockler catalog. Everthing in stock, and the guy behind the counter extrememly knonwlegable about woodworking and helpful as well. Spent an hour and half in there, left with a few items and cant wait to go back for more.

Wow!! That would be a treat. We've a Woodcraft store in Oklahoma City and it's the same way. Neat to go into. But Rockler would ROCK! (can I say that?)

Steve,

It's off of 635 in Mesquite, I took the Town East Blvd exit. It is right next that large Ford dealership across from the Town East Mall. As you are going up, watch to the left of 635 near Town East and you should see it.

I think it is pretty much country wide, but Woodcrafters will give you a 10% off discount on your birthday...can't remember if it is for the month of your birthday or "week of", and they also carry epoxy materials...wood isn't typically a bargain however...just my thoughts...Doug

It's the whole month of your birthday, but only for one purchase.
