I have a pair of pipe in the roof with pipes that slide into them.
I simple pull the pipes out and hang a pair of shower curtains. very easy and quick.

Kenneth, I've seen your design several times and like the simplicity. I didn't build my teardrop, it dates from 1948, and I am not willing to put any more holes in the skin than I absolutely have to. It has never leaked in 67 years, and I don't want to cause it to now, or later.

But the concept of a curved curtain rod around the door is certainly shared.

I have a set of Grant's roof racks on my 5 X 8 that are about 44" apart. I went to Home Depot and got three 4 foot sections of the white metal closet rods and two 90 degree corners (made by Closet Maid). The two 4' sections slide in and out of the rack tubes and I cut the third so they go together to make a U shape about 4' x 3.6' in size and is a tension fit inside the rack pipes. Two shower curtains make a nice privacy enclosure on these rods and I can set the rig up on either side of the Teardrop depending on my camp site. A golf umbrella gives shelter in bad weather - not great but better than nothing. Total cost was probably under $50 and set up time is about two minutes. It works great.

David,
How are the pipes attached to the teardrop? Can you share more info?

Like Bob Henry but I used electrical conduit between the roof and ceiling skins.
On my new TD I used 60+"expandable metal closet poles With the big pipe thru both walls and under the ceiling to be also used to hang stuff on inside the TD.
When not used for a room the outside bar can be used as a drying bar.

And NO clunky frames to unfold or assemble ! Just pull the rods out like a dresser drawer and hang your curtain.

Oh the curtain..... a hand full of heavy fishing weights dropped into a pocket sewn into the curtain corners helps to avoid embarrassing moments changing or on the potty in a high wind situation.
