New from washington

Postby stoneycoyote » Wed Jul 08, 2015 5:17 pm

I was at the gathering in Roslyn Washington, and I bought a teardrop.
We just got back from a week on the road, towing it with our subaru outback.
Didn't even know it was there.
Looking forward to some more traveling soon.
Talk about admirers!

Welcome to the forum.
The photo in your avatar is small but it looks like the teardrop Ed K. said he sold that weekend.
It pops up in the back with a full door entry.
We were there too towing our teardrop with a blue & white 55 Chevy.
Hope to see you and teardrop at one of the gathering.

Yes Danny we bought Eds. My wife liked it so I bought it. It tows really nice behind our 2010 Subaru outback!
I greased her up, and we took off on our maiden voyage to Hells Canyon Oregon.
Fit 2 adults and our great grand daughter well. Had a blast. The loiks from the dsl pushers were awesome.many took pics and wandered why they had those huge beasts.

We just had another fellow Teardrop owner stop in at the Farm on his way to Alaska.
It was the first night he had slept in his new teardrop (we were honored that it was here at our Farm) we have lots of room and love to meet new Teardrop people.
If you have your Teardrop and are ready to cross the border we are an easy drive from your place ( 5 1/2 hours straight up Hwy 97). There will be a number of people leaving the Wenatchee area (Wenatchee River Park and Confluence Park) heading north to our place on both Thursday & Friday mornings.
We would love to have you attend our Gathering.
And we Guarantee you will meet some wonderful new friends from the Teardrop Community.
And Yes, if you make it up here, I will sign you up as a PNW Tear Jerker member and put a TJ PNW Chapter Decal on your new Teardrop!
Please let me know if you can make it (even for just one or two days??)

Okay, there were so many people that we talked to, next time please refresh my memory.

I see you've posted a gathering in Eastern Washington for vintage trailers.
You may want to consider Antique Powerland near Salem, Oregon on the same weekend.
It's quite an event with all the steam powered tractors and such, along with a huge swap meet.
Teardrops and small standies of any year with a vintage appearance are welcome.
Check it out in the TOW newsletter.
