A 5x9 is the base plan we're starting with, just a few weeks into the planning...

I live is the suburbs of Vancouver BC and hope to collect parts over the winter and begin instruction in the spring...

You an get "All" of your "Materials in Canada, but you are best to get all of your "Parts" from the USA.
It sucks that our $ is so poor right now (doesn't look like it will be getting better soon?), ebay is your best friend.
It is cheaper to buy some things like your "Axle" directly from the manufacturer.
But, the things that are common like lights, converter, handles, hinges, windows, door seals etc. are competitively priced on ebay.
Then there is Princess Auto!
