Newbie Taking 7 X 14 Cargo Camper From MN to AK

Postby AKTommy » Sat Jul 25, 2015 11:02 am

Greetings all,
My wife and I are converting a new Haulmark 7 X 14 ALX V-Nose to a cargo camper and towing it from my parents' house in Minnesota to our home in Alaska. The dealership is installing a roof vent, windows on each side and the personnel door. They're also installing E Track on the walls and floor, as well as two spare tires.
We had planned to build a teardrop at home, but family circumstances dictated otherwise. Now we have about 2,000 lbs of antique furniture and various household goods to transport the 3,200 miles back home.
We love the innovative ideas people discuss in the forums and look forward to adapting them to this project, which will progress after we get home to all of our tools and workspace.
Photos to come...

Welcome to the Forums.

Take a look in the Cargo trailer conversion area that are a lot of good ideas there. Ones that are fill time campers, half and half for toy hauling and camping, and other
that are still used for towing and hauling with bare minimum living space for over night stays.

GL on you move and let us know how it goes.
