Spare tire location and insulation?

Here is a picture of my spare tire mount.

It is under the trailer at the front.

You can also see the insulation installed with fender washers (painted black to prevent rust).

I also left my axle in the original position.

When I load the inside of the trailer with our "extra gear"
I load it towards the front of the trailer to adjust the tongue weight.
