cutting a door in an existing wall

Is it possible to cut a door in an existing wall? I'm looking at the partially finished trailer on eBay. I don't have a lot of construction experience.

Sure, but it will take some doing... assuming it is not aluminum clad.

I would put overlapping wood inside and out (fill screw holes when done), then just cut it..

Then the fun begins. If insulated, you have to hog out the insulation with a rotory file, no problem... then piece in wood... all of this takes time, but I would expect the outcome to be pretty decent.

Don't forget about the wiring that may be running thru the wall.

Thanks so much for the advice and ideas. The trailer that is on eBay doesn't seem to have any wires, insulation, etc. yet. It is a partially finished one.
