Newbie from Eastern NC

Postby Handemo » Thu Jul 30, 2015 7:44 am

Hi all,

I'm Johnny and I'm new to the site and the teardrop world. Looking to start my first build and I found this site while trying to get all my drops in a row. You guys/gals are the mecca of TD info, and I'm sure I will be putting some of it to use.

Thanks again for the wealth of knowledge provided here.

Welcome aboard Johnny. The wealth of knowledge available on this site is amazing. The members on the forum are some of the most innovative people I've ever met. They were an incredible resource to me during my build. Good luck with your project and welcome to the addiction. Bill 8)

Welcome, I'm fairly new as well. This site really is amazing and a true wealth of information. Any ideas on what you will be building?
Cheers,
Scott

I'm not 100% sold yet but I think I will be doing a 5'x8' Rimple trailer. The only reason I'm not 100% sold yet is because its not a "true" TD style. But I love the simplicity and easiness for alterations that appear to come along with this style. I'm no master craftsman (unless you consider pallet furniture) and I'm a little intimidated by the electrical work that I'll have to do, so I wanted a build that would take some of the thinking out of it. I am really looking forward to a project that I can customize and put our own touch on.

New to the site too, have you started your build. If so, what are you building? If not, what do you plan to build?

Scott,

I missed your build thread before asking that last question. Looks like you've done quite a bit of research too, good luck on your build.
