I finished building the roof for the toilet unit. It is tall enough to stand under the ceilling without hitting it with head, but still just a bit higher than a trailer. When removed, it fits inside cabin supported against the wall, allowing us to sit inside comfortably in a day version of interior. Outside I installed a small LED lamp for night toilet use.
Tomorrow I plan to make side walls- I will use one of the walls I bought for my gazebo.
I installed a source of electric power. Instead of buying a car or boat battery, I used a broken power drill. Cut its handle with a battery lock, fitted to the trailer floor under the seat and let cables go out. Battery gives 12V and light works perfect.

Hello my friends. We have just returned from our trip to the north of Poland. We visited Baltic Sea shore and a part of Poland called Kaszuby.
Whole trip was really beautiful and we are very glad we could stay there and sleep in a small, yet comfortable trailer.
A lot of people asked about the trailer and expressed their very positive attitude towards it. Even foreign tourists were amazed and fascinated. Such small caravans are still not popular here.
About my own feelings: it is a superb trailer. We can sleep in it with so much comfort. We can prepare food just after we park. After installing a rear roof and a tent wall we have a small toilet unit. During the travel the roof fits perfectly in a trailer and is locked at the right side wall. It is also serving as a comfortable back support (can be seen on a picture called 'Day version').
As I start my work now, I will not be able to spend a lot of time finishig the trailer. Still need to install carpet and side upholstery, improve electrics, water circuits, give the trailer a 'finishing touch' but I think that the general part of work is done.
Thank you for your clever pieces of advice, for sharing good ideas and your support. If someone wants to build a trailer similar to this one, I am happy to help.
Will post some pictures after I manage to do some work. Hope before the spring begins, the trailer will be completely ready.
Once again, thank you and have a good fun with building and enjoying your trailers.
Trip reports are always welcome, as are build updates. I like seeing your country.
Don't be a stranger; it is always interesting to see things from different regions where other materials and supplies are available and/or are being used in different ways.
Thanks for sharing your pictures. I'm glad to see that you are enjoying your trailer. For years to come, your little girl will fondly remember you building this trailer and the trips you and your family take with it.

I think I can...I THINK I can...I THINK; I CAN! (I think I did it!)
Tom; so glad you didn't give up! It came out great and I love the way you did the main cabin. Gives me ideas for when I start mine. Thanks and happy trails
Hi Tom, glad the trip went so well for you & your family. It looks like you're getting some enjoyment out of all the hard work you've done and may have started a lot of people thinking about the possibilities for camping in your part of the world. I've also enjoyed the pictures of your travels on vacation. All the green & water looks very nice to me!
Just wanted to say hello & congratulate you on a job well done & sticking with it through all of the work & planning you did. You never gave up on your dream! Hope there are many more trips & lots of pictures we can see from the next one.
Build log: viewtopic.php?f=50&t=60248 The time you spend planning is more important than the time you spend building.........
Hello again. Just a small update of my caravan build. I finished the floor and lower part of walls with a carpet, also improved ventilation- removed grilles from vents, installed a mesh to protect us from mosquitoes and then installed 4 super silent computer fans that blow a lot of air into the cabin. There are also small LED lamps on each side of a night version of the bed and a car lighter sockets/ USB charger.
