I'm a long time truck driver looking to wind down a bit. I have a smaller s10 4.3 blazer thats been paid for and rebuilt several times. Cant bring myself to get rid of it, so my options were very limited as how large of a camper I could buy. Forrest River makes an Rpod that almost would of been perfect, but the interior would never hold up to my large clumbsy body. I also wanted to have something that was custom to my needs. I saw a converted cargo trailer going down the road and thought how ingenious it was.
My plans are to buy a new 7x14 tandem from Trailers Plus in Idaho Falls, and tow it back down to Central California where I'm working till next spring. I'll have time between loads to build it out. I really love what some of you guys have down with a few basic tools. I live in Burley Idaho, so this will be built, insulated for cold weather. I'm also kicking around the idea of putting a mini wood stove in for colder days. I should have the funds for the 7x14 by November. I'm glad to be a memeber here, and I'm soaking up as much info as my lil brain can.
