New from Nevada

Postby vegask » Sun Sep 06, 2015 10:12 am

Just wanted to say hi, I have been lurking for a month or so reading the build journals. My plan is to begin an offroad teardrop early next month. 4.5' x 8.5' on 35" tires with independent suspension. Considering I have little experience working with wood (more with metal) this should get interesting.

Welcome to the Forum
Are we to assume that you are a back country camper with a Jeep as a TV?

I am too new as a member but not to this forum. I lived in Vegas for 24 years before moving to Missouri. I've done a lot of 4X4ing, and mountain biking while I lived there. I just want to say good luck to you. It's a great forum, I am doing a sketchup right now and reading again and again the electrical forum so it all goes smoothly.

I am actually in Reno these days, lived in Vegas several years ago where my offroading habit formed. No jeep, just heavily modified 97 4runner. I converted it to solid front axle 4 years ago and its on 35s also.
