New guy from Central Illinois

Hi, I have been lurking around and thinking about building a teardrop trailer. I am considering using a Farm & Fleet trailer that is 4 x 8 and using that as a base. They have it for $399 and it comes assembled. Anyone ever use these?

Pete,

This is the one I think tswan is talking about. http://www.farmandfleet.com/products/669952-teske-mfg-no-floor-trailer.html It's a bit nicer than the HF version from the looks of it.

As part of the Hoosier tearjerkers group I would like to invite you to come visit us at our fall gathering in about 3 weeks.

We have a lot of friends in Illinois that hop the line and camp with us.

I have done like wise and joined the Illinois group on occasion.

Both chapters are great groups and it would give you a great opportunity to see some tiny trailers
and get some ideas and pointers for your build
Growing older but not up !

First off, welcome. I used a Northern Tool Trailer for my last build. Very similar I believe to the one you are looking at. Either should work fine. When you have a question, just hollar. Join us for a gathering sometime and see how everyone made their trailers. It helps to see things in person. You don't need to have a teardrop to camp with any of us in any state. All are welcome.
