Well right now I have 2 teardrops and a 1951 Silver Streak trailer. So I will not pass judgement on anyone.

I would love to have the time, $$ and space to have a couple of these, and a boat, and a couple more classic cars and..

So I think having a couple would be fine, haters would just be jealous.

It is your $ to spend on what you want..

If I had the space, I'd be overrun with vintage VWs.

If I had the patience and cash I would have a cargo conversion to try and get my husband out with me and another tear or two for my kids to borrow, maybe they would join me more often.

Slow .......We have both a teardrop and a 30' 5th wheel, they both have their place and purpose. When the wife goes it's the 5th wheel, when I go alone to the races, fishing or other manly activities it's the teardrop. The wife needs a potty.
I fear the day that technology will surpass our human interaction, the world will have a generation of idiot's.

I currently have three teardrops, a Jim Dandy, a Tourette, and a Kampmaster, plus 2 standees, a Robinhood and a Boles Aero. One of the luxuries of having space. I just sold 2 standees, a 1937 Hayes and a Main Line Silver Lark.

Mike, you're not in any trouble at all. Just go with it.

like Redneck Teepee, our having two campers was purpose driven. When we did off-road we used a '66 Apache popup that weighed about 750 lb and could be pulled by our Geo Tracker. When we wanted more creature comforts, we used the Fleetwood Santa Fe popup that had a stove, sink, refrigerator, toilet, hot water, etc. We recently traded the Fleetwood for a 23 ft travel trailer, and that's what we use most of the time now.

So, to answer your question, no, what you describe is not a case of "too many campers".

Rob,

Funny, when Mike posted his question, I immediately thought of you!

Hope all is well in your part of the world. :)

Never too many if you have the time, space and money. I have one 1940 teardrop, 1984 U-Haul Fiberglass CT and a 1966 vw bug (not a trailer I know, but fun). :)

I live out in the country and have 3 acres. And am almost out of room.

2 Isuzu Troopers, 1 Suzuki Sidekick, 1 datsun pickup, 2 mazda pickup, 1 daewoo, 1 VW beatle, 1 teardrop, 1 motorcycle hauling trailer, 1 Massy Tractor, 1 IH tractor. Most of these are rather old, some do not run and at the moment only 2 are are registered and insured.

A friend has a 5th wheel set up here to live in a few months of the year ( I have an extra septic tank he is hooked into ) and often keeps his bumper pull here. He also has a car hauler to use for his 4 seater ATV.

Then last week I bought this.

It needs a truck load of work. I am only interested in from the bottom of the windows and up. I should get it home this sunday. leave the door opened so the cats can get the mice. start cleaning it out and gutting what I do not want. Above friend's wife has a cargo trailer in AZ they will bring up to use for rent. Build a floor and figure out how to build walls to make it into a trailer. As you can tell my list of vehicles does not include a pickup large enough to haul this.
