Between health issues in my family, Job woes, and a move this week to about an hour south of where I work, a weekend with friends is in order.

WELL AM I PISSED OFF !

I have never missed a gathering since the fall of 07 !

They are fast tracking me in for a right hemicolonectomy. Yep they want to cut out a chunk of the old hershey highway.
The IU med folks have been fantastic they found big troubles during a routine colonastomy. They have been in hi gear to avoid complications.
I go in Thursday The 24th . If I am real good I can make a visit. I tried my damnedest to get a reprieve until the 12th they tossed all kind of cold water on that idea.

If I can make an appearance I will bring all the goodies I have promised. (Might need a few bucks to pay the hospital )

Looking forward to seeing all of you even if just for a visit Hope hope hope !

Well, Bob, I haven't been to a Hoosier Tearjerker Gathering without Bob Henry there. BUT, the Doc's have the final say in this one Bob. Hollar if you want to talk to my brother. And, Good Luck, listen to the Doc's, and watch flirting with the nurses--they have needles

Best of luck Bob; I will be joining you in surgery on the 24th myself. Let's hope for a good repair on the Hershey Highway and my spinal cord as well.

Just a quick update on Bob Henry. I talked to him this morning and he is already up walking and sitting in a chair. Doctor is amazed at how well he is doing just one day after surgery. Instead of the projected 3 - 5 day hospital stay, there is talk that he just might go home tomorrow. There's just no holding that man back He's pretty determined to make it to the gathering, even if it's just for the day but he also mentioned just throwing a pillow and blanket in the trailer and staying one night. That guy is amazing.....

Just thought you'd like an update. Hopefully see you all in a couple of weeks!!!!

Bob, I've been away from the forum recently and was really surprised (not as surprised as you were, I'll bet) to hear about the surgery.

It won't be the same without you but, I'm sure you'll be back in the camper very soon. Best of luck in the recovery process.

I really like this design. I am 57 years old,
I don't want to build two teardrops. I want the
first one I build to be the one that gets passed
on to my survivors, and get heavily used by me
in the mean time.

Looking forward to seeing many trailers,

Kurt don't give up Bobs site just yet. If he can be there he will. He's pretty determined not to break his perfect attendance record. He may just be there for the day but I'd bet money he makes an appearance.
