I got a good chuckle out of the photo with all your junk on the counter along with an open beer. It's bringing flashbacks to me!

Thanks for the updates,

Tony

The mess seems to be a constant, the location of the beer seems to be the only thing that changes.

Ive got this trailer im building for someone else under control and should have it completed tomorrow other than a few minor details later next week when the final fabrications done so I can get back into my build.
I'm hoping to get a bit done on mine tomorrow as well as I have to work sunday

While on this subject, we all know that women are much more capable of "multi-tasking" than men are, just the way it works. What's multi-tasking to a man?

Doing anything while drinking a beer.....

WOWEEEE! You have been SLAVING. I love your progress and how cool is Aussie hardwood?? Your hatch work is excellent. We had a really sunny, warm day today and I spent the day in the yard catching the weeds before they get as high as the windowsills lol. I've got the biggest, healthiest capeweeds in Aus growing up under my chassis, which is a bit embarrassing lol BUT I have bought two of those glass 'windows' from a frontloading washing-machine. Coolest things ever. Maybe they'll be like little sunroofs in my TD. If I can find a mobile welder dude this week I am STARTING. True story. You are such an inspiration. :applause:

Hahaha. Thanks and yes..that would be a great way to celebrate!
I think I can find a friend to do what I need, which is cut off the ends of rear 'bumper', MAYBE cut off some side sticking-out bits (I have to decide today what my finished width will be) and replace a two foot section of steel at the front. I'll also take advice about the hitch which my husband, who tows his boat all over the place, says is overkill..well it IS 60s-70s style lol. I do have someone to help be move the axle and springs if necessary, and fit new hubs and wheels..see..I'm already getting ahead of myself lol.

You'll easily cut the bits you don't want off with a grinder yourself if you have some experience using one,use the realy thin cutoff wheels.

Got myself a present today.
Paid for by the other camper I just built for someone else.
316 stainless bullet porch lights.
They weigh a ton.

Those are really great! They look like fine quality. And a bottle of suds to go with it!
