I want to fit a queen size on a 4 foot as well. Is that the Harbor Freight trailer? It looks like you put 2x4s on end. Was that all you needed to get the height above the fender?
Hi Tim, It is a harbor freight trailer, and 2x4s on end, bolted down, worked perfectly. The brown lower part is 1x6 below the the plywood. I did this because I did not want to lose the almost 6" of head room I would have by cutting out for the wheels. I also left the galley area low to maximize storage. I will add pictures that may help show you what I am talking about to my gallery now.

Great ideas! I hadn't thought of keeping the galley low. My wife would definitely like that.

Vedette wrote:We would love for you to come to B.C. to our Farm Gathering, but it is not a large event and it is a long way for you.![]()
BUT, you should really think about the Dam Gathering at Lake Shasta California May 1st.![]()
It is the largest Gathering in the USA and attracts some wonderful Teardrops and Teardrop people.
IT IS A MUST!
