Thanks desert, I had originally envisioned what you did but wanted to use the e-track......tried what cornfused did but couldn't seem to make it work, so......

I have found an acceptable answer but have some expensive lessons to pass on.......

I used a C7 connector with a right-angle

This allows the cord to lay alongside the cooler



The lesson?? - CUT THE PLUG END OFF BEFORE GOING INTO TRAILER........I plugged the C7 end into the 12-volt plug on the cooler (the black wire is on the far end of the C7 which coincides with the black wire on the original cord (towards front of cooler)). Not thinking, I then plugged the corded end (120-volt plug) into the inverter with an immediate blown fuse. Checking the power supply, found it was shorted which cost me ~ $75 here http://www.ambientstores.com/productdetail/refrigeration___bar_accessories_and_parts/669

Summary - use a C7 right-angle connector and make sure your connecting end is for 12-volt

Found on pinterest this idea.......had some scrap ¾" plywood laying around






Now a step used for the rear cargo doors......makes it much easier on the knees when stepping up/down. Connected with two ⅜" carriage bolts (galvanized) with wing nuts

Sleeping platforms.......the platform on the R held a guy weighing 240 (I put 5 supports under). The platform on the L held a guy weighing 180 (4 supports). The sleeping pads are 3" inflatable foam pads from Costco.........worked ok but as I get older, the shoulders ache at night (yeah, I know - get 'em checked).....I'll be adding another 3" memory foam.

The window shaker did fine. Kept the trailer at 64F without a problem. Also couldn't even hear the AC from the campsite (it was on road side). The next campsite over had a pop-up with rooftop AC. You could hear it in the background at night.

I remove it when I travel. It sits under the bench in the. This is where my breaker box and all my extension cables are stored as well. It rest on 5 mounts and bolts down. Easy on and easy off and ver secured. Here is where it's stored while moving

Added some trim to the table.......used ¾" U-channel.....used brazing to fill in the curve slots (1st time, so it's not the cleanest)
